Hello! Just thought of posting my being a chef for today’s lunch menu. I cooked breaded cream dory! :) Yummy! This would be my 2nd time of cooking the said dish. My first attempt wasn’t that successful. Like, the bread crumbs didn’t stick well to the fish. It was really very messy. But, in all fairness, it tasted good. The only problem was the presentation. :P Today, was my 2nd attempt and I couldn’t be any prouder. :D
It was a no meat Friday for our family soooo… there. :) Enjoy the pics!
cream dory fillet marinated with calamansi, salt and pepper to taste

all purpose flour (1st step is to cover the fillet with this) :)

beaten eggs + Angel evaporated milk (haha! no promotions there :P)
2nd step is to dip the fillet here. ;)

bread crumbs! :D yay! 3rd and final step before deep frying is to cover the fillet with breadcrumbs! :P YUM, YUM! But, you can do away with the breadcrumbs covering part (just like my brother, he doesn’t want the crunchy texture).
After steps 1-3, all you need to do is to deep fry it in oil. It would be better if the oil is already hot when you start cooking. ;) So, there, deep fry it until golden brown.

The finished product! :)
your choice of dip! :) You can also use ketchup+mayo :)

ready to serve! :)

OUR LUNCH! Other viands include, monggo beans with tinapa flakes and taba ng talangka sauteed in garlic (our cousin just came home from Baguio last night and she got us a bottled taba ng talangka for pasalubong. ;>). Everything’s great with rice! :D
I know we should be fasting for Good Friday. Hmm, will do just that during dinner time. :) Happy Lunchtime everyone! ;)
